Have I mentioned I love patterns?!

 

Years ago I started buying packs of handmade papers from a company called Shizen because the colors and patterns were so beautiful I just had to have them. At first I used them mostly for crafting and handmade cards, but somewhere along the way

I had the idea to try incorporating them into my paintings.  These mixed media collages are the result. If you ever get a chance to buy some of these papers I guarantee you too will be inspired to make something beautiful.
